Your free trial starts the first time you sign in and lasts three days. You don't need a credit card to start it.

To keep PrepStar afterwards, choose a plan and add a card: nothing is charged until the trial ends. Without a card, the trial simply ends, and you pay nothing. Each student gets one trial.

Yes. Every student has a referral link of their own in PrepStar. A friend who joins with it gets $50 off their first payment, and once they pay, you get $50 of credit toward your own PrepStar bills.

Cancel any time, online: under Account and billing in PrepStar, or, if you paid through a pay link, from the link in your confirmation email. Your plan stops renewing, and you keep PrepStar until the end of the period you've paid for.

Payments aren't refunded, including for part of a period, except under the Score Guarantee. The Terms of Service have the details.

It's our promise that the work pays off. Finish your full PrepStar study plan every day for 90 days in a row, then take the official SAT or ACT within 60 days. If your SAT score doesn't rise 200 points, or reach 1400 when you start at 1200 or above, you choose a full refund or three more months of PrepStar for free. On the ACT, the goal is 5 points, or 31 when you start at 25 or above.

It runs on official scores at both ends, and every one of the 90 days must be on a paid plan, so the free trial doesn't count toward them. The Score Guarantee has every condition and how to claim.

Three to five months before your test date. That leaves room to work through every topic, take full-length practice tests and fix what they show, and it fits the Score Guarantee: 90 days on the plan, then the official test within 60 days.
